Shaun opened the back gate to his home, a Pokemon ranch in the back yard, built shortly after his older sisters, Amanda and Kristen, had become trainers.

An eighteen year old boy ran as fast as his legs would carry him. What was propelling him forward was one of the simplest yet most complex of emotions, concern. This young adult was wearing a white shirt under a red-and blue light jacket, with the red flowing down from the shoulders and collar, ending in a horizontal zigzag arrow pattern around the middle, while continuing in an arrow down the back, usually obscured by his silver strapped, green and gold backpack. Below that was a pair of denim jeans, a black belt with a silver buckle looped loosely around his waist, and silver and gold sneakers, double knotted.
